Elopement Package questions

I help all of my clients find the perfect location for their elopement based on their needs and wants. I create a custom location guide that includes a detailed description of each location so couples can make an informed decision.

I suggest between 1-year to 6-months. However, I have planned elopements in less than 30-days!

Absolutely! I recommend keeping your guest count under 10, as some locations don’t allow larger groups. Exceeding that number may require a special use permit or reserving a venue for your ceremony.

Yes. I specialize in photographing elopements, weddings and couples. But I love to photograph families, maternity sessions and everything in between!

I have traveled all over the U.S. to photograph couples in different states. Some of my favorite elopement locations include places like: Washington, Alaska, and Wyoming.

I offer planning as apart of my packages. I help all of my clients find the perfect location, create their timeline, suggest vendors + accommodations, navigate the marriage license process and more! You can absolutely bring your dog to your elopement! Colorado is very dog-friendly, with plenty of locations that allow pets—and fun fact: your pup can even sign your marriage license!

Yes! Luckily, Colorado is one of the easiest states to get married in – the state does not require you to have an officiant or witnesses! For more info. you can check out my blog on self-solemnization.

When planning couples elopements we talk about our back-up plan in case of inclement weather. Usually, I suggest renting an Airbnb or VRBO so that we can always use that as an indoor option. I also am experienced in shooting in all weather so we can always embrace the chaos and make the best of it too!

After your pay your 50% retainer I do offer payment plans that can be broken up into monthly installments.

Luckily, most locations in Colorado do not require you to have a location permit if it’s just the two of you. However, if you are planning on including guests some locations may require it once you reach a certain quota. National Parks and Privately owned locations require permits so you will want to consider this when deciding on a location. I help all of my clients navigate this so don’t stress out!

Most of my couples book my 8-hour package. This allows for a fun stress-free experience that allows you to hit all the major points of a wedding day. If you want to include multiple locations and adventures I suggest considering my 10 or 12 hour package instead.

Not much! You DON’T need a location or date in order to book with me. All I require is for you to select a package, sign the contract and pay your retainer!

All of my elopement packages come with planning to ensure you receive the best experience and photos. The most important service I include with planning is location guidance and timeline creation. This is incredibly important from a photography perspective because it allows me to suggest the best times for lighting and other location logistics. If you don’t need other recommendations that is totally fine, but my pricing does not change.
